November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many individuals would disrupt me now, and say that the majority of females at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other ladies. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all).
