We all accompany this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second thought. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two houses across the street. I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat.
