I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women tackled their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who walk past the home. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat.
