I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and say that most women at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other ladies. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this website is the separated house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
