We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women set about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of individuals would interrupt me now, and state that most females at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other females. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage kids.
