With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would disrupt me now, and say that most ladies in your home do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't know the half of it all. I believe it's time I provided you a total photo of our street and the people who survive on it. It will come in useful in the future. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and after that next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Then last on this site is the separated house where Steve and Mandy cope with their 2 teenage children. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
