We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a doubt. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up until September, I had been similar to you. We have a no smoking policy in our house, enforced on the majority (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mom). This suggests that whenever we wish to smoke, we have to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. After cigarette smoking nearly constantly when the anxiety embeded in, I started to see the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I started to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and state that most women at house do what I do, stop and chat with the other ladies. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and after that beside that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this website is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her other half and is in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a great time. I never spoke with him, despite the fact that what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I mention him.
