From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. After smoking cigarettes nearly continually when the depression set in, I started to notice the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your home. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and say that a lot of females in your home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have two replies. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this website is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children.
