From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two houses across the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who walk past the home. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many individuals would interrupt me now, and say that the majority of women at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other ladies. Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this site is the removed house where Steve and Mandy deal with their 2 teenage sons. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
