We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second thought. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women tackled their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past your home. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and say that many women at home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have 2 replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't know the half of all of it. I believe it's time I offered you a total picture of our street and individuals who survive on it. It will come in beneficial later. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly very first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Then last on this website is the separated home where Steve and Mandy deal with their 2 teenage children. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. She recently separated from her spouse and remains in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a good time. I'm John (28 ), and I live with my mum Chrissie (45) and papa Bob (52 ). Next along are some newcomers. At this time in November, I didn't understand their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. Of course, whenever I spoke to them, I used terms like a neighbour to bridge this gap in my understanding. They were a couple, in their late 30's, early 40's, and they seemed to keep themselves to themselves. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City. I never spoke with him, even though what I'm about to inform you, so this is the last time I discuss him.
