We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who stroll past the house. I began with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of individuals would interrupt me now, and say that many females at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other ladies. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and after that next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this website is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
