I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women set about their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and state that most females in the house do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have two replies. Then last on this site is the removed home where Steve and Mandy cope with their two teenage children. They are in their late 30's.
