November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and say that most ladies at house do what I do, stop and chat with the other females. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and then next to that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Then last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy cope with their two teenage kids. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. She recently separated from her partner and is in the procedure of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I have not introduced myself yet, so now would be a great time.
