In the 3rd week, a despair started to sneak in. I had nothing to do, no place to go, and loads of time to kill. I started to get depressed.

We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our house, enforced on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). This indicates that whenever we want to smoke, we need to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two houses across the street. After smoking almost continually when the anxiety embeded in, I started to see the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of individuals who stroll past your house. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would disrupt me now, and state that a lot of females in the house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Then last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. She just recently separated from her partner and is in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I have not introduced myself yet, so now would be a great time. I'm John (28 ), and I live with my mum Chrissie (45) and father Bob (52 ). Next along are some newcomers.
