We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a 2nd idea. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women went about their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past your house. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and say that the majority of women in your home do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have two replies. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 structures in all). She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly very first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Then last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy deal with their two teenage boys. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
