With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women tackled their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many individuals would disrupt me now, and say that a lot of females at house do what I do, talk and stop with the other ladies.
