I began to pick up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these women tackled their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your home.
