We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a 2nd idea. After cigarette smoking almost continuously when the depression set in, I started to discover the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who walk past your home. I started with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would disrupt me now, and say that a lot of ladies in the house do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you do not understand the half of it all. I believe it's time I gave you a complete photo of our street and the people who reside on it. It will come in helpful later on. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this website is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
