All of us accompany this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up until September, I had actually been just like you. Triggering to work every day, concerned more about what I was going to finish with the day rather than what my neighbours would depend on. We have a no smoking policy in our house, implemented on the majority (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mother). This suggests that whenever we want to smoke, we need to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. After cigarette smoking almost continuously when the anxiety set in, I began to discover the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and state that many ladies at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't know the half of it all. I believe it's time I provided you a total image of our street and the people who live on it. It will can be found in helpful later on. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and after that next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage children.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
