We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up until September, I had been much like you. We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our house, implemented on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two houses across the street. I started to choose up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this website is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. She recently separated from her spouse and remains in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I haven't introduced myself yet, so now would be a good time. They were a couple, in their late 30's, early 40's, and they appeared to keep themselves to themselves. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City. I never ever spoke with him, although what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I mention him.
