We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a 2nd idea. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females went about their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the home. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many individuals would interrupt me now, and state that most ladies at house do what I do, talk and stop with the other ladies. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and then beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Then last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy deal with their 2 teenage boys. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. She just recently separated from her hubby and remains in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a good time. I'm John (28 ), and I deal with my mum Chrissie (45) and papa Bob (52 ). Next along are some newcomers. At this time in November, I didn't know their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself.
