We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a 2nd idea. I started to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your house. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would disrupt me now, and state that most women at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and 2, you don't understand the half of it all. I believe it's time I provided you a complete picture of our street and the people who live on it. It will come in beneficial later. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this website is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage children.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. She recently separated from her husband and is in the procedure of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I have not introduced myself yet, so now would be a good time. I'm John (28 ), and I deal with my mum Chrissie (45) and papa Bob (52 ). Next along are some newbies. At this time in November, I didn't understand their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. Of course, whenever I spoke with them, I used terms like a neighbour to bridge this gap in my knowledge. They were a couple, in their late 30's, early 40's, and they seemed to keep themselves to themselves. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City. I never talked to him, despite the fact that what I'm about to tell you, so this is the last time I mention him.
