We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a 2nd idea. I started to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their everyday regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who stroll past your house. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and say that most females at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you do not know the half of it all. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly very first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Then last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy deal with their two teenage kids. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
