With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these women went about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I usually stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat.
