With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females set about their day-to-day routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past your home. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and say that most ladies in your home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies.
