All of us accompany this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. We have a no smoking policy in our home, implemented on the majority (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). This implies that whenever we want to smoke, we have to stand at the back door. From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two houses across the street. After smoking almost continuously when the anxiety embeded in, I began to observe the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to detect when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies tackled their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many individuals would disrupt me now, and say that a lot of ladies at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other females. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Last on this website is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
