We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a 2nd idea. November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would disrupt me now, and say that many women at house do what I do, stop and chat with the other ladies. It's a very small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and after that beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage kids. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her other half and remains in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a great time.
