We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a 2nd thought. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their daily regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the home. I began with a friendly hello and advanced to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and say that a lot of females at house do what I do, stop and chat with the other females. It's a extremely small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage kids. They are in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her other half and is in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a good time. I'm John (28 ), and I deal with my mum Chrissie (45) and daddy Bob (52 ). Next along are some newcomers.
