We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. In the third week, a malaise started to creep in. I had nothing to do, no place to go, and loads of time to eliminate. I started to get depressed.

From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes across the street. I began to choose up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the canine for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the house. I started with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of females at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies.
