We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I vary from the rest of you. Up until September, I had been much like you. The first couple of weeks were fine I. managed to get all the little tasks that pile up done. Then in the 3rd week, a despair began to sneak in. I had absolutely nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to kill. I began to get depressed.

We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our house, implemented on the majority (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. I started to choose up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your home. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and say that a lot of women in the house do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't know the half of everything. I believe it's time I gave you a total image of our street and the people who survive on it. It will come in beneficial later on. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked somewhere in the City.
