From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. After smoking nearly continuously when the depression set in, I began to observe the comings and goings of individuals in the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the regular times and I would find myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females tackled their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of individuals would interrupt me now, and state that many females at house do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. It's a really little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this website is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. She just recently separated from her hubby and remains in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen children Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I have not introduced myself yet, so now would be a good time.
