We have a no smoking policy in our home, enforced on the majority (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mom). This suggests that whenever we want to smoke, we have to stand at the back entrance. From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. After smoking cigarettes almost continually when the anxiety set in, I started to see the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who stroll past your house. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I normally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most people would disrupt me now, and say that the majority of women in the house do what I do, stop and chat with the other women. I have 2 replies. One, I'm male, and two, you do not know the half of everything. I believe it's time I gave you a total image of our street and individuals who reside on it. Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this website is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage children.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked someplace in the City.
