We all go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without providing it a 2nd thought. I began to detect when the mums strolled their kids to school when they returned when they headed out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With absolutely nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would find myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies set about their daily routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of the people who walk past your house. I began with a friendly hello and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and state that most women at home do what I do, chat and stop with the other women. I have 2 replies. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited house, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this website is the removed house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the road, we begin with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
