From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. After smoking almost continually when the depression set in, I started to notice the comings and goings of the people in the street. I started to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they returned when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself unconsciously having a cigarette when these females went about their day-to-day regimens.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many individuals would disrupt me now, and state that many females at house do what I do, talk and stop with the other ladies. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 separated (that's 5 structures in all). Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish female in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. She recently separated from her husband and remains in the process of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has 2 pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I have not introduced myself yet, so now would be a good time.
