Then in the 3rd week, a despair started to sneak in. I had absolutely nothing to do, nowhere to go, and loads of time to kill. I started to get depressed.

We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our home, implemented on the bulk (me & my daddy) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of two homes throughout the street. I started to choose up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the people who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I normally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Many people would interrupt me now, and say that the majority of ladies at home do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. I have two replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't know the half of all of it. I think it's time I provided you a complete picture of our street and individuals who survive on it. It will come in useful in the future. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant home, and after that beside that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this website is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage children.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's home. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
