From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. After smoking cigarettes practically continuously when the anxiety set in, I began to discover the comings and goings of the people in the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they headed out shopping, when they took the pet dog for a walk, and when they beinged in the garden. With nothing else to do, my mind filed away the routine times and I would discover myself subconsciously having a cigarette when these ladies went about their everyday routines.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the home. I began with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I generally stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most individuals would disrupt me now, and state that many females at house do what I do, stop and chat with the other ladies. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 removed (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then beside that is. where Jody lives. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is always very first with any chatter. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this website is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage kids. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we start with Linda's home. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
