All of us go along with this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up till September, I had been just like you. We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our house, imposed on the bulk (me & my dad) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of two houses across the street. I started to select up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who stroll past the home. I began with a friendly hi and progressed to the point where I usually walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of individuals would interrupt me now, and say that most ladies at house do what I do, talk and stop with the other females. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage children.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. She just recently separated from her partner and is in the procedure of moving. She remains in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our house. I haven't presented myself yet, so now would be a great time. I'm John (28 ), and I live with my mum Chrissie (45) and father Bob (52 ). Next along are some newcomers. At this time in November, I didn't know their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself. Of course, whenever I spoke to them, I used terms like a neighbour to bridge this space in my knowledge. They were a couple, in their late 30's, early 40's, and they seemed to keep themselves to themselves. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City. I never talked to him, even though what I'm about to inform you, so this is the last time I mention him.
