November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the people who walk past the house. I began with a friendly hi and advanced to the point where I typically stroll down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would interrupt me now, and state that a lot of women at house do what I do, talk and stop with the other ladies.
