All of us accompany this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. We have a no smoking policy in our home, enforced on the bulk (me & my father) by the minority (my mom). From here, you can see the entryway to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 houses throughout the street. I began to pick up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the dog for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with many of the individuals who walk past the home. I started with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I typically walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. Most individuals would disrupt me now, and state that most women at house do what I do, talk and stop with the other women. It's a very little street, 8 semi-detached homes and 1 detached (that's 5 buildings in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a vacant house, and then next to that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a big Irish woman in her 60's. Last on this site is the detached house where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage boys.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's house. Next is our home. Last on the row was a chap who worked somewhere in the City.
