All of us support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without offering it a doubt. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up till September, I had been just like you. Setting off to work every day, concerned more about what I was going to do with the day rather than what my neighbours would be up to. Then, I developed a problem with my knee. A semi-serious problem. It didn't stop me from doing most things, I could walk, run, and climb, but it did stop me from driving, which in turn stopped me from working. I joined the ranks of the long-lasting ill, continued to receive my paycheque, and sat and took it easy. The first couple of weeks were great I. managed to get all the little tasks that accumulate done. Then in the 3rd week, a despair started to sneak in. I had absolutely nothing to do, no place to go, and loads of time to kill. I started to get depressed.

We have a no cigarette smoking policy in our house, implemented on the bulk (me & my father) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's house and the fronts of 2 homes across the street. I started to choose up on when the mums walked their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with the majority of individuals who walk past your house. I began with a friendly hey there and advanced to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. The majority of people would interrupt me now, and state that many women at home do what I do, stop and talk with the other women. I have 2 replies. One, I'm male, and two, you don't understand the half of all of it. I think it's time I offered you a total image of our street and individuals who reside on it. It will come in beneficial in the future. It's a really small street, 8 semi-detached houses and 1 detached (that's 5 structures in all). Down the left side (as you stand at the top of the street) there is a uninhabited home, and then beside that is. Next up is Graham's home, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's house, she's a huge Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the removed home where Steve and Mandy live with their 2 teenage sons.

On the right-hand side of the road, we start with Linda's house. Next is our house. Last on the row was a bloke who worked someplace in the City.
