We all support this, moving through the days, weeks, and years without giving it a second thought. Here's where I differ from the rest of you. Up until September, I had actually been similar to you. We have a no smoking cigarettes policy in our home, imposed on the majority (me & my dad) by the minority (my mother). From here, you can see the entrance to our neighbour's home and the fronts of 2 houses across the street. I began to select up on when the mums strolled their kids to school when they came back when they went out shopping, when they took the pet for a walk, and when they sat in the garden.

November, and by now I'm on speaking terms with most of the individuals who stroll past the house. I started with a friendly hey there and progressed to the point where I generally walk down to the garden gate and have a chat. A lot of people would interrupt me now, and say that many females at house do what I do, stop and talk with the other ladies. She's a 70 odd-year-old widower, who is constantly first with any gossip. Next up is Graham's house, he's in his 50's. Next is Sheila's home, she's a big Irish lady in her 60's. Last on this site is the separated home where Steve and Mandy live with their two teenage boys. They remain in their late 30's.

On the right-hand side of the roadway, we begin with Linda's home. She just recently separated from her spouse and remains in the process of moving. She is in her mid 30's and has two pre-teen daughters Emma and Becky. Next is our home. I have not presented myself yet, so now would be a great time. I'm John (28 ), and I deal with my mum Chrissie (45) and father Bob (52 ). Next along are some newcomers. At this time in November, I didn't know their names, so-called them Dick and Helen to myself.
